The meaning of my name is the coronation ceremony of a prince, a mark of transition from princehood to being a king. I like to think of it as an influence of changing and evolving towards better quality.
I am a statement, a stand and an opinion. I am an alias hater, bicycle rider, brie eater, pastry gulper, orange peeler, dog-food-can opener, afternoon nap taker, homeless dog shelter volunteer, advanced blockbuster dvd renter, minimalist-furniture user, ikea surfer, bbq rib eater, beagle puppy cuddler, professional geese herder, dedicated futon mattress user, greyhound walker, lane-controller, angry-motorist bird-flipper and pro-bicycle-commuting t-shirt wearer!

Bicycles and SustainabilityThis is a blog about me trying to leave a smaller mark, a smaller footprint on nature. This is an account of my adventures with my sidekick: Laya on breaking the system and challenging the norms in every day behaviour to keep nature as healthy today as it was yesterday. This is not a fight against hummers and suburbans but a fight against personal addictions towards carbon spewing habits. This is not just a push to society to change but mostly a challenge for myself to be more progressive in change. This is also a portal to show how I am achieving changes.
I’ll include maybe a few rants here and there to keep things colourful…
CookingI primarily cook Indian food at home. I also like to dine out. I take pleasure in eating simple foods. Sharing my food related experiences with friends on facebook and twitter, I decided to write about what I eat.
My goal is to influence people to try out Indian food in their own homes. Indian cooking can get spicy but home cooking, especially Bengali cooking rarely does. Either home or restaurant, most Indian cooking is very flavorful and aromatic. There are also a ton of recipes for vegetarians and vegans.
MinimalismThe objective of this blog is to share my take on minimalism, its benefits and its relationship to my stress free life. It is also a check to avoid me straying away from a clutter-free environment.
Fragrant UnderbellyThis is my experiment with google sites. It is a collection of irregular and unimportant snippets of my thoughts, both evil and dangerous, displayed for the whole world to see. I dont post very often here, so dont hold your breath. Well, you can hold your breath, its your fcuking life!
PosterousSnippets of my life that end up on the interwebs while on the go accumulate here. Most of these end up on twitter or facebook too.
My explorations into the bicycling blogosphere...
WebsiteBikejax is bike culture in Jacksonville, blogged.
Matt Uhrig writes the blog.
Together, we advocate for bicycles as transportation.
We maintain a free bike valet service every saturday at the Riverside Arts Market.
Tons of super-duper-awesome volunteers support us.
ForumThis is a forum for all bicycle related discussions in Jacksonville to start and flourish.
Back in the day when I commute to work on a bicycle and back when I had the luxury and the naivety to commute in suburban hell known as Southside Blvd, two blogs called Bikejax.org and BikeCommuters.com posted a commuter profile on me. The following links are to those profiles.
Now, I have moved farther away from work and commute on a motorcycle. But now I have the luxury to ride a bicycle in the historic neighborhood of Riverside without the fear of backlash from the car-centric culture of American Suburbia.
This is a work in progress...
This is a repository for all my work that can not be stashed in my blogs. It is usually a collection of studies and webpages that I want to share.
